Обновил Афоню до версии 2.2.

This update contains many bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
• Enhancements to Maps
   – Google Street View
   – public transit and walking directions
   – display address of dropped pins
   – share location via email
• Enhancements to Mail
   – resolved isolated issues with scheduled fetching of email
   – improved formatting of wide HTML email
• Improved stability and performance of Safari
• Podcasts are now available for download in iTunes application (over Wi-Fi and cellular network)
• Decrease in call set-up failures and call drops
• Improved sound quality of visual voicemail messages
• Pressing the Home button from any Home screen takes you to the first Home screen
• Preference to turn on/off auto-correction in Keyboard Settings

Коробка с Афониными примочками (а точнее большой пакет с пузырьками внутри) ожидал(а) меня у порога, когда я пришел домой. Быстро работают китайские товарищи, однако. Молодцы. Две недели пересылка из Гонконга. И всего за 3 бакса!

Вроде всё работает как обещанно, но FM транслятор как то слабо вещает и иногда говорит, что он не совместим с iPhone 3G. А иногда вроде работает и заряжает как надо. Или лыжи не едут или я просто не разобрался?!

Yesterday I received the 4-in-1 iPod charger ordered last week from Yugster for my wife. As it turned out it doesn’t work with iPhone 3G. All other iPods and iPhone models are supported, but not iPhone 3G. Sucks!

Today I got a hint on a nice deal at Brando for a 7-in-1 combo Car kit package (Car holder/FM transmitter/Charger/Remote). Got there and bough it, along with some other cool iPhone 3G stuff. Here’s hoping that it will all work with 3G.

It all ships from Hong Kong, so it might take a while. Let’s wait and see…

Обновил оба iPhonе-а до версии 2.0.2. Улучшений не заметил — клавиатура тормозит по прежнему, связь также прыгает между 3G и Edge, Safari падает меньше, но все же падает. Будем ждать следующего обновления (и результатов судебного процесса над Apple).

Нашел интересную игрушку под iPhone для Даньки, называется Preschool Adventure. Стоит всего $0.99. Но пока еще ему рановато, пусть немного подрастет.
